Lisa McMillan is a jewelry designer & maker who creates lightweight, fun & memorable jewelry for women that inspires compliments when worn. Lisa, a metalsmith, hand forges (cold) her designs, and most are hand hammered. She uses primarily repurposed aluminum wire (lead & nickel free) in her designs. She also works with silver and gold wire. Her popular hammered aluminum pieces are very lightweight, easy to wear, and look just like silver - but won't tarnish & affordable! Lisa lives and creates in her home studio in Wilmington NC close to Wrightsville Beach where she walks, finds inspiration & photographs many of her pieces.Read their story
