About Light Provisions

Light Provisions was created in 2015, well before "small-batch candles" became a crowded category. What started inside a dim Victorian house in Colorado Springs has evolved through nearly a decade of hands-on fragrance development, intentional design, and careful refinement. Every fragrance is house-blended using a layering approach inspired by the balance of a well-made cocktail — grounded base notes, nuanced mid-tones, and clean-burning top notes — designed to fill a space without overwhelming it. Each candle continues to be tested, poured, packed, and shipped directly by the founder to maintain the consistency and quality that built the brand’s loyal customer base. Beyond fragrance, Light Provisions is deeply focused on the visual and atmospheric role candles play in a space. Unlike most brands sourcing generic vessels from wholesale marketplaces, our signature tumblers were designed fully in-house. Each vessel is made from lead-free crystal, blown into individual molds to create subtle variations in thickness and weight. The rippled design refracts light as the candle burns, casting a quiet dance of light and shadow.
