Cassies Care Farm is a beautiful and unique initiative that was established in memory of a special girl named Cassandra Josephine. Cassandra, who was affectionately known as Cassie, came from foster care and had special needs. Despite being limited by her terminal diagnosis and her reliance on a wheelchair, Cassie was loved deeply by her family and touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. Sadly, Cassie passed away on July 9th, 2022, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. To honor Cassie's memory and make a difference in the lives of other special needs and foster children, Cassie's parents established Cassies Care Farm. This incredible farm is the only handicap-accessible farm in the CSRA, offering a range of activities and experiences that are inclusive and accessible to everyone. The farm features wheelchair paths, handicap-accessible garden beds, and other activities that are designed to be enjoyed by all, regardless of their abilities. At Cassies Care Farm, every child is welcome, and no one is ever limited by their physical or cognitive abilities. The farm provides a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Whether they are planting seeds in the garden, interacting with the animals, or enjoying the beautiful surroundings, children at Cassies Care Farm are sure to have an unforgettable experience.
