For thousands of years, mankind has always known how to use and benefit from the rich and generous South nature. Harvested by hand in high mountains above an altitude of 1700 meters, Abies alba fir tree cones and buds have long been used to produce a nectar that helps overcome the harsh winters. Since 2013, we have been able to save and revive the artisanal production of the traditional Pyrenean fir tree syrup thanks to our meeting with one of the last elders who give us the secret of the ancestral recipe passed down in his family from generation to generation. The syrup is made by extracting delicately, through a long maceration, the tears of the fir trees.
