About JOHI

Designed to enjoy, crafted to last. JOHI is a product design and interior design studio led by husband-wife partners Raja Badr-El-Din and Holly Apau Badr-El-Din. We manufacture our wholesale products in small batches, with an emphasis on luxury, investment-quality, healthy products made closer to home. JOHI (pronounced jō-hē) is a name that reflects our upbringings in two communities halfway across the globe from one another: JO for Jordan, HI for Hawaii. Our cultures have engrained in us the value of relationships, connection to place, and the interplay of tradition and innovation. We are on a mission to connect with retail partners who value healthy homes, thoughtful products, and unique objects for daily living. JOHI is a proud member of 1% for the Planet, Bay Area Made, and the Good Future Design Alliance.
