About catstudio

Hello Friends, 2024 is a momentous year in the history of catstudio as the founders of the company, Carmel and Terrell Swan (the ‘cats’ of catstudio) are off on a new adventure called retirement. After 23 amazing years of creating the original Geography Collection and building a collection of 100s of designs gracing hand-embroidered pillows and other products, the ‘cats’ have passed the torch to the next generation of catstudio. We’d like to introduce ourselves! Ours names are Navjot Singh and Nikki Mull, the new owners of catstudio. Navjot has spent the last 15 years working in the tech industry as a software engineer and later leading product at several start-ups. Nikki is an artist with degrees in traditional mediums, film, and computer graphics. She’s worked as a Look Development Artist at Walt Disney Animation Studio for the past decade. As we set out on a new chapter of our lives we felt that catstudio was a great fit for our combined experiences and skills. Under the guidance and support of Carmel and Terrell we hope to continue their legacy of carefully researched designs and unwavering quality of products. We hope to bring our own experiences and the insight we gain from all of you to continue catstudio for many years to come! Here’s to new friends and places to discover!
