At TAE, we believe tea is more than just a drink. It’s a ritual, a remedy, and a moment of calm in a busy world. Founded by Tara in 2023, TAE was born from a love of tea and the natural power of herbs. Frustrated by the overwhelming choices and lack of transparency in the wellness space, Tara set out to create a simpler, more intentional approach. The result is a range of unique, functional blends designed with your body and your daily routine in mind. Our journey has taken us across the world, including time spent in Japan where we connected directly with tea farmers and deepened our understanding of traditional cultivation and craft. Today, our matcha is sourced directly from farms in Japan, ensuring exceptional quality, traceability, and authenticity in every cup. From the beginning, three values have guided everything we do: ethics, quality, and sustainability. We prioritise sourcing directly from farms whenever possible, and where we can’t, we work with the Ethical Tea Partnership to ensure fair and responsible practices. All of our teas are made with whole-leaf herbs and fruits, and our teabags are reusable, because wellness should be good for the planet too.
