I am a small one-woman business, operating out of a reconverted textile mill in Biddeford, Maine. All of my artisan products are either hand made by me or from a cast I created. I use ONLY recycled sterling silver, 14k gold fill, or 14k gold. Never plated, never nickel. Ask me why, and I could go on until your eyes glaze over. All of my gemstones are genuine and are ethically sourced. I design, make, finish, pack and mail every single product. You can't get much more personal than that. I have been handcrafting jewelry for 15 years, having had careers as a radiation therapist, accountant, corporate manager and human resources director. I have also owned my own retail clothing store in Maine, so I know of some of the trials you experience. I am mostly self taught, however, I am proactive in taking online classes, as I believe we can always learn.
