LUC JACOBS was formed in Austin, TX by founders Maureen Gavin and Hillery Stephens (Aunt and Niece). Maureen and Hillery had always dreamed of working together. In 2018 that dream was realized when Maureen decided to retire and move from Sonoma, CA to Austin, TX be closer to Hillery. After several months of research, the two decided to start their new venture of luxury hand-crafted candle making. Maureen named the company Luc Jacobs after Hillery's two boys, Lucas and Jacob. Maureen and Hillery ensure each Luc Jacobs candle is thoughtfully created, with great attention to detail and beauty.
