The inventor of the Infinity Strap™ is Amir Zaki (200hr RYT), a dedicated yoga practitioner since 2002, a surfer, and student of tai chi. These activities require a balance of flexibility, strength, and mindfulness. Like many of us, he has certain limitations in his range of motion, especially in the shoulders. Due to injuries, he has had two shoulder surgeries and spent a lot of time in physical therapy. Having grown frustrated with the standard stretching straps offered in yoga classes, gyms and physical therapy, he designed the patented Infinity Strap. The standard yoga strap is 8-10 feet long with a hard metal or plastic buckle that doesn't work very well. The extra length gets in the way, twists and wraps around itself and your body. The other big problem is the metal or plastic buckle. The buckle hurts when it comes in contact with one’s hand or foot, and it makes a loud disturbing noise when dropped to a hard floor. The Infinity Strap™ is designed to solve all the problems that you find in other kinds of stretching straps by providing an elegant, simple, beautiful and safe alternative. The design of the Infinity Strap™ is a dual loop with a subtle twist at the center, forming a shape of an endless figure 8.
