About Oliolamantea

In 1950 the Lamantea family bought the first hectares of land planted with olive trees, in the countryside of Bisceglie, in the San Felice area. Since then it has cultivated the ancient tradition of olive milling, the precious fruit of the centuries-old olive groves they own. Over the years, olive trees of different types have been planted in their lands. Today the Lamantea farm has three different types of olive groves of varieties, Coratina, Ogliarola and Nocellara, from which a high quality extra virgin olive oil is obtained. In addition to the olives harvested in its own agri, every year the company increases its production by buying and grinding even those of its neighborhood. In 2003, thanks to the entrepreneurial ideas of their children, the LAMANTEA brand was born, synonymous with an oil culture handed down for generations. With the new brand, the bottling line is also born, which completes the production chain: collection, milling, packaging and distribution. The Lamantea company, thanks to its competence and the quality of its product, can now count on a large customer package, spread throughout the national and foreign territory and can look to its future with excellent growth prospects.Read their story
