Coated Australia was created from a simple gift I (Matt) had made for my fiancée (Tara) for a weekend away that we had whilst travelling regional Victoria. It was a simple, yet irresistible combination of soft and fluffy marshmallows, double-coated in premium milk chocolate. Since we both loved them so much, we decided to head home and make more, along with a number of other indulgent crowd-favourites –such as raspberries, snakes, chewy caramels, bananas, frogs and more. This time around, we decided to share them with friends and family and with no surprise, the chocolates didn’t last long. With the main piece of feedback being -“You have to sell these!”I’ve grown up surrounded by chocolate, as my family has owned and operated a premium Chocolate business for over 35 years and after working with my family for 15 years, I’ve seen first-hand the positive effect that quality, Australian-made chocolate has on people. Tara has a knack for all things creative, being a content producer and video editor for a major Australian television network. Partner that with a self-confessed chocolate addiction, Tara is the perfect person to be responsible for all of the mouth-watering social media content made for Coated Australia. Our mission!
