About Mrs. Sassysquatch Soapery & Crafts

Mrs. Sassysquatch Soapery & Crafts was born from a mother's search for better products for her family. After my daughter was born in 2020, she struggled with sensitive skin and reactions to conventional bath products. I began researching the ingredients in everyday soaps and detergents and was surprised by how many unnecessary fillers and harsh ingredients they contained. Determined to find a better solution, I taught myself the art of cold process soap making in 2021, starting with Castile and Bastille soaps before learning to make goat milk soap. When my daughter's skin finally stopped breaking out, friends and family began asking for my products, and Mrs. Sassysquatch Soapery & Crafts officially launched in 2022. I started by selling at local markets throughout North Carolina before shifting my focus to growing my online business after welcoming my second child in 2024. Today, one of my signature products is my handcrafted Goat Milk Laundry Powder. I developed my own original formula after noticing there were very few handcrafted options available. It's become one of the products I'm most proud of and reflects my commitment to creating simple, effective products made with thoughtfully selected ingredients. Every product is handcrafted in small batches with care because I believe families deserve high-quality products they can trust in their homes.Read their story
