About Indu A yoga dream turned reality… Years ago, as a yoga student, I remember the moment my teachers gently massaged a sweetly scented lotion on my neck during savasana—it instantly calmed my busy mind and soothed my heart. That small act of care left a lasting impression. When I became a yoga teacher myself, I felt inspired to offer my students that same sense of peace and presence. I began exploring essential oils and blending them with intention, eventually creating what would become Indu Aromatherapy—a synergy blend that has become the soul of our signature scent. I started on the floor of my Manhattan apartment, surrounded by beakers and jugs of lotion, mixing each batch by hand while softly chanting mantra. With every shake came love, intention, and the deep desire to help others relax and let go. After class, students would ask, “What was that scent?” They shared how the neck or temple massage with Indu helped them drop into stillness—and so, I began making larger batches to meet the growing demand. Today, Indu is still mantra-mixed by hand in Cleveland, Ohio using the same heartfelt process.
