About MPWR Jewelry

I started this two hand shop for a purpose much larger than to create shiny jewelry or for my customers to look cute (even though that is an added bonus!). I want purpose being every piece. Whether that is a confidence boost, a reminder of worth/purpose, or even just a pick me up when worn. I want your MPWR item to make a difference, either physically or emotionally. One of the first pieces I made was for myself prior to opening my shop. It was the Mayala (Pronounced My-Luh. Weird, I know.) necklace and it had "Choose Joy" stamped on it. That phrase has so much meaning and power. If I were to wake up in the morning and worry about all the things one can worry about (house payment, long to-do list, relationships, money, etc), I would be choosing to disregard the positive things happening in my life. The darkness will take over. If I wake up and intentionally "choose joy", I am reminding myself how blessed I am. I am choosing to look at the lightness in my life and taking each step with pride, love and happiness. I have a roof over my head, I have an incredible husband and beautiful baby, and an amazing opportunity to hopefully touch others lives. This first necklace was the beginning purpose of MPWR Jewelry.
