ABOUT OUR PHILOSOPHY The most frequent question we get is "why not real leather?". The answer is simple: we love fashion and quality fabrics, but we love animals much more! As the owners (or slaves? hmm...) of two cats and one dog we learned a lot from them - to respect their personality is one of the most important, if not the most important one. And if our little furry friends have a personality, why wouldn't a cow, a goat, or any other animal have one too? That's why we became vegetarian and searched for the best alternatives for vegan-friendly fabrics. All of our vegan leather fabrics are high quality European made materials with ISO certificate - which means with a good care these fabrics last for years and years. So vegan fabrics are the first pillar of our philosophy. The second one is the minimalist design. Of course we love working with interesting, vibrant fabrics, but when it comes to forms, we are committed to clear, minimalist and calming lines. This is our secret to create stylish, easy-to-use and easy-to-love pieces. ABOUT PRODUCTION All of our bags are made in Hungary in small and ethical manufactures. ABOUT US Oh, and before I forget: I'm Agnes, designer and CEO of zoe&co. I learned fashion design in Budapest and started to build my brand in my school years. My partner in life & business is Matthew (okay, in Hungarian his name is Mate, but let's be honest.... :D ), who's not just a brilliant customer service rep, but he's a musician and a writer as well.
