DeBarro is based in Barcelos, Portugal, a city deeply rooted in ceramic tradition. Founded by two young descendants of a family dedicated to crafts, our studio mixes heritage with innovation. Each piece, crafted with artisanal techniques and a contemporary twist, embodies our commitment to preserving heritage while pushing the limits of innovation. Beyond ceramics, we aim to preserve the cultural legacy of ceramics and inspire future generations of artisans. We take pride in our commitment to the art of craftsmanship, producing each piece on the pottery wheel. We will never use molds in our production process. We maintain the integrity of each design, allowing the natural variations of the craftsmanship to shine through. This not only guarantees the uniqueness of each item, but also honors the rich tradition of artisanal techniques passed down through generations. Our exploration knows no bounds. We experiment with new collections, shapes, textures, and technologies.
