About Scents of the Northwest

Jessica Hackney is a stay at home mom and candle maker based in Castle Rock, CO where she resides with her husband and 4 children. Her candle business came into fruition in May of 2017 in the beautiful Pacific Northwest from a little idea turned into something bigger than she could imagine with each scent PNW themed to represent the great Northwest. Each candle is phthalate free, contains a crackling wooden wick, and will subtly fill a room with a unique scent. Since then they have expanded from their home kitchen into their own production studio and into dozens of local retailers across the Puget Sound Region. They offer jar candles, tins, wax melts, reed diffuser, and more each with a little touch of the Pacific Northwest!

We love all the scents we chose and we are excited to introduce them into our new store. I’m sure our customers will love them. Also, we were looking for products made in Washington since we are also in Washington and we are so glad we found this! The names of the candles are great. Thank you.

Wow, we have carried many different candles in our shop and NONE have had such astounding feedback from customers like these! The snoqualmie frost sold out in the first day, and we will continue to try new ones with every season! The smells are strong yet not overpowering, classic yet new. Highly recommend!!!
