About Kinapure

The idea to start Kinapure emerged when I had my first daughter Gabrielle who is now nine years old. Gabrielle was born with severely dry skin, eczema, and had multiple food allergies. As a first-time mom, I knew very little about her condition. I tried several moisturizers on the market and spent a lot of money, but none of them worked effectively. She would wake up in the middle of the night scratching all over, bleeding from her scratching, and crying so much that I broke down one of those days because I could not see my daughter growing up and having to live her life this way. to do something about it. I called my mother in Ghana, who reminded me of the power of the shea tree. I tried shea butter on my daughter, and I have never looked back. My daughter started sleeping better, and over a week, she was sleeping, eating, and playing without itching all over. Today my daughter is nine years old, and she has learned to moisturize her skin with shea butter and does it well. I wanted to learn more and share this excellent product with the world. That was when I discovered that shea butter is considered the women's gold in Sub Saharan Africa because of the economic opportunities it provides the women shea producers. I wanted to help the women earn more money, so I traveled to Ghana to meet them, and our relationship has been fantastic. I buy the shea butter at fair trade prices and then import them into the U.S to package and make clean skincare products. Read their story
