Josephine Bernaud created these delicious cookies and crackers in 1926 to sweeten the journey of travelers on the Haro-Bordeaux railway route. Her delicious healthy snacks combine the exquisiteness of French pastry recipes from her native country with local ingredients from La Rioja, where she lived with her family. Baked in an artisanal way, we continue to maintain the original recipe. We use low-temperature baking and only natural ingredients. In 1926, she opened her Tea Room, which became a meeting place to share conversations, laughter, and songs. Because life is about this, enjoying friends and loves, conversing, and savoring the small moments.
