About Spencer's Custom wood Military veteran Sidney and Laddavan Spencer started a family-owned custom woodworking business in 2018. Sidney fell in love with woodworking when he decided to build his teenage daughter a shoe rack. Frustrated that he could not find a good quality shoe rack without going broke, he decided to build it himself. He discovered he loves working with his hands. Laddavan was born with a artist’s eye. She loves to think creatively. She discovered laser layered wood art when deciding on what she can bring to their growing family-owned business. She loves working side by side with her husband. Together, they created some of the most uniquely beautiful pieces of art you have ever seen.
