Our textiles are woven by carefully selected craftsmen at small family-owned weaving mills in Turkey, where weaving technology and craftsmanship have been passed down from generation to generation. The entire production is carried out sustainably and environmentally friendly. All our textiles are designed with both form and function in mind and the good quality in combination with the beautiful design means that they can be used for a very long time. More than 600 years ago, when the Ottoman Empire flourished and the Turkish hammam baths served as social meeting places, Peshtemal, a thin-woven towel, was used to cover the body.
