About Banana Vital

How It All Began Gracienne Myers, loves sharing the story of how Banana Vital came to fruition-and the unique way she’s always been linked to the world’s most popular fruit. At the age of 7, Gracienne’s connection with nature began through her favorite outdoor activity – banana trunk rafting. She spent many hours floating down river with friends. Decades later, bananas have once again found their way into her life. In 2016, a friend asked about a banana snack he had tried in Brazil. Knowing she was Brazilian born, he was hopeful she might be able to help him recreate it. Gracienne spent days making various batches, as her 7-year-old daughter and friends gave feedback; mainly that it was just too sweet. That’s when it occurred to her adding green bananas might cut down on the sweetness. Gracienne researched all the health benefits of green bananas and discovered amazing scientific studies showing things like added vitamins and minerals, as well as prebiotics which aid in gut health. Banana Vital was born. Shortly after creating Banana Vital, Gracienne traveled to Brazil and while there, learned something interesting. The town she was born in has the nickname ”Bananeira” which means banana tree. In that moment, Gracienne realized bananas had always been destined to be part of her life.Read their story
