Jorstad Artisan Yarns is a northwest-inspired dye house producing locally sourced hand knitting and crochet yarns for the crafter. Our mission is to produce amazing yarn from materials sourced close-to-home. We are proud to produce yarn sourced and spun in the USA, including Elemental Affects American Shetland-breed yarn spun from flocks in Montana, Washington, and Oregon. The colors are over-dyed on wool that is selected for a variety of natural colors. The results are beautiful, heathery colors that are complex and rich. Read their story
