LucyLovesThis is a small design studio, set up by book cover designer Lucy Stephens. Having grown up in Cambridge, studied in Leeds and then settling with her family in South London, Lucy knows how the places she’s lived in have shaped and inspired her. Her illustrations feature what she loves in her locality. The first letter in the Location Letters collection was Brixton; where Lucy was living at the time. She started selling the design at local craft markets and requests came flooding in. The collection now features over 200 different letters. The letter designs are made up intricate illustrations, monochrome typography and contain the landmarks and icons that celebrate each place. Over nine years Lucy has grown a loyal fan base, excited to collect prints and gifts that celebrate the places that make up their life journey. Customers come back time and again to buy their friends and family gifts that celebrate graduations, house warmings, weddings and birthdays. Lucy’s products sell through online outlets and in many local British boutiques, as well as being featured in well-known high street stores such as Liberty, Fenwicks, Selfridges and Waterstones. Her products have been featured on several TV shows including Made in Chelsea, Liberty of London and The Great Interior Design Challenge.
