Squishy Jewellery is an independent jewellery brand based in Manchester, creating colourful, design-led statement earrings that blur the line between accessories and wearable art. After completing a Masters degree in History of Art and Design, our founder wanted to create a brand inspired by a range of movements and disciplines such as modern art, architecture, graphic design, even psychology, from Henri Matisse’s joyful cut-outs to the famous Bouba/Kiki experiment exploring how we connect shapes and sound. These influences are transformed into bold, lightweight acrylic jewellery designed to spark conversation and bring a little more colour into everyday life. Each piece is carefully designed and assembled by hand in small batches, with an emphasis on playful composition, striking colour combinations and thoughtful details. The result is jewellery that feels collectible, expressive and made to be worn again and again.
