About Toybox

Long before Toybox became a small white printer sitting on kitchen counters and classroom tables, 3D printing was a world reserved for engineers, hobbyists, and experts. It was powerful—but complicated, technical, and out of reach for most families. At the same time, children everywhere were surrounded by toys they could play with, but never truly make. The creators of Toybox saw an opportunity hiding in that gap. They asked a simple but bold question: What if a child could press a button and create their very own toy? Traditional 3D printers were far too complex for kids and even for many adults. They required software knowledge, calibration, and endless troubleshooting. So instead of building another technical machine, the founders of Toybox decided to completely rethink what a 3D printer could be. From the very beginning, Toybox was designed to turn imagination into something tangible. A child could scroll through a library of toy designs, tap “print,” and then watch as their idea slowly came to life. Creativity was no longer stuck in a drawing or a screen. It became something real. As Toybox grew, it became more than a printer. It became a creative platform. At its heart, Toybox was created around one powerful belief: When children are given the tools to create, they stop being just consumers of the world and start becoming its builders. That belief is what continues to drive Toybox today.
