Jessie Krause is the painter behind all her greeting cards. She uses all mediums, sizes, and subjects. Her background is in theater and fine art, which she studied at New York University. Twenty years ago she began selling greeting cards of her art from the sidewalks of Gramercy Park. As she stood at her easel painting the park and its surroundings, passerby would stop and watch. One of them suggested she make cards of her paintings, and Jessie has been selling them ever since. She also sells prints and her original artwork at various venues in New York and New Jersey.Read their story
