Vision - Loana is made for women who want to feel confident, comfortable & feminine. Our vision is to create flattering, timeless and playful pieces that make you feel good in your own skin - and make you want to stop and check yourself out in every mirror you pass. Loana began with two friends, a love for Italy and a shared dream. Hannah and I spent summer after summer travelling along the Italian coast, always finding ourselves back in a little town called Loano. We have been friends for as long as we can remember. Growing up, we shared a strong interest in fashion, creativity and travelling. Over the years, the idea of building something of our own slowly began to take shape. In 2020, while in quarantine together in Tenerife we finally decided to turn that dream into reality - and Loana was born. I, Lisa, have always been drawn to fashion, fashion history, color, form and the art of creating. My interest in clothing and design started at an early age, growing up surrounded by women who loved to sew and paint. I love the process of turning an idea into something real, from the first sketch to the finished piece. I'm especially inspired by fashion from different decades and the way styles from the past can be reimagined and brought into the present. Mixing influences, colors, fabrics and shapes is a big part of what makes creating so exciting to me.Read their story
