Ark Fair Trade: 40 Years of Funky, Fair Trade Fashion Since 1985, Ark Fair Trade has been on a mission to uplift artisans in Nepal while bringing vibrant, ethically made clothing and accessories to stores across North America. Founded by Noah Howard—known as "half hippie, half businessman"—we've spent the past 40 years blending unique style with responsible practices, ensuring safe working conditions and fair wages for every artisan we partner with. As proud members of the Fair Trade Federation since 2012, we go beyond fashion. Through our partnership with Tree Canada, we offset our carbon footprint by planting trees annually. A portion of our proceeds supports projects in Nepal through the Nepal Relief Fund, sponsors children's education at the Srongtsen Bhrikuti School, and funds mindfulness programs at the Sarana Institute in Canada.
