At Spinning Wheel Stories, we believe stories are one of the most powerful ways to connect hearts and minds. We are a Massachusetts-based independent children’s publisher creating art-forward, emotionally resonant books for families, schools, libraries, bookstores, museum shops, and gift retailers. Children deserve books of substance—stories that trust young readers with nuance, beauty, humor, and wonder. Through words and art, a child can step into a world they have never known: another home, another country, another way of seeing. Our list includes picture books, translated stories, SEL-centered titles, mindfulness and movement books, nature-inspired stories, and screen-free activity books and gifts. Our books are created by real authors, illustrators, and translators, without the use of AI. Our growing list includes award-recognized and critically praised titles, including a Kirkus-starred picture book and an IBPA Bill Fisher Best First Book Silver Award winner.
