About Concept Fourteen

Concept Fourteen uses contemporary design and art to promote meaningful conversation at the dinner table. In a fast world, we are inspiring the modern generations to "bring back the dinner party" and once again cherish a simple homemade dinner with important people- talking about things that matter. Concept Fourteen creates table textiles from old-school, original, hand-painted designs that are manually printed on napkins and textiles in an artists' studio in Connecticut (where creator and artist, Lillie, also hand raises rare chicken breeds). Each napkin is a labor of love and results in a unique textile that is 100% fade proof, wrinkle proof, extraordinarily easy to launder, and extremely durable and long-lasting. Concept Fourteen is the result of creator, Lillie Fortino's, love of home entertainment, art, and cooking for friends and family. She observed that all the fabric table linen options on the market felt stale, dated, and uninspired (and those that weren't, were unaffordable). It was this joy of sharing a meal with her loved ones, combined with her passion for design, that sparked the flame that became Concept Fourteen.
