Donna Browning is the Founder and Chief Inspirer of Sweaty Bands. She is the creator of the original velvet lined, non-slip fitness headband. Donna turned her basement craft project into a global brand. She believes this simple headband makes a woman/girl feel and look their best while ultimately inspiring them to stay fit! Donna is a lifelong health and fitness enthusiast with a degree in Cardiovascular Health from the University of Cincinnati. She has over 20 years of personal and group training experience. During her classes, Donna noticed that she, and many of her students, faced the same chronic issues: headbands slipping off, bobby pins popping out, and stray hairs falling in their faces. Women would constantly stop to adjust their headbands and fix their flyaways, which is a clear distraction. In 2007, Donna decided to take this workout woe into her own hands. She knew she had an unbelievable product and wanted to share it with everyone. She began selling the bands out of her gym bag after her classes. The response was so good, she knew she had to build a website! And, the rest is history. Over the years, Sweaty Bands have been sold in a wide array of over 2,000 stores, including Nordstrom and Dick's Sporting Goods.
