About Josh Bach Limited

In 1995, I started a neckwear company out of a closet-turned-office in my downtown NYC apartment and modestly named it after myself. Josh Bach Ltd. began with the goal of giving neckties some personality. Not a goofy novelty personality, but something that was perfectly wearable and respectable but not predictable. It was a way for men to express themselves and stand out for the right reasons. I designed my first eight patterns and attended some trade shows. People liked what they saw, and the neckties were a hit. Men loved them, and soon I started seeing them on celebrities, politicians, reporters, anchors, and scientists. Even wardrobe stylists used them in movies and TV productions. I have never manufactured anywhere but in the USA and started long before "Made in the USA" was expected. Even as prices increase, I still insist all our products be sewn in NYC. Keeping it local assures craftsmanship and quality and helps our community and economy. Men should have more expressive wardrobe choices. This idea is ingrained in every one of our patterns, and today, Josh Bach Ltd. has grown to include something for everyone.
