About SMOOS

SMOOS is the result of several years of research and development conducted within IBEX, a company from Chambéry specializing in the production of a typically Savoyard emulsified alcoholic beverage, by its creator Olivier MARMET. It is a 16% alcoholic foam, combining taste intensity and smoothness, both light on the palate and with a firm texture, an incredible hold for such an alcohol level (recipe with 4/10 of alcohol at 40%) and a beautiful white, smooth, and shiny appearance. The secret is to use no dairy base, only pectin and emulsifiers of plant origin, so as not to alter the aromatic characteristics of the spirits used. One of the multiple advantages of our recipe without animal proteins or fats is to allow a long hold both on hot and cold, in addition to long preservation of the bottles at room temperature even after opening. Its exceptional characteristics and great simplicity of use make it a choice ingredient for professionals as well as amateurs, in both gastronomy and mixology, not to mention the coffee world.
