About Cárnicas Ortín

The Ortín family began its journey in 1986 by opening a supermarket in the town, in 1990 they began with pig farms, creating their first farm, and currently it has more than 8,000 specimens in its facilities. Our farms are equipped with the latest technologies on the market to guarantee animal welfare and an adequate and comfortable stay, radial heating, temperature control, feed control, cleaning and care by our farmers who check all the animals one by one to check their good condition in our facilities. All this is transmitted in the meat of the animal from which our valued products then come out, being able to control the entire process from the raw material to the final contact with the customer. Cárnicas Ortín S.L. was founded in 1996, thanks to the family's extensive experience in the meat sector and the result of the demand for its products. In the beginning, traditional pork preserves and sausages were made, such as chorizo and sausage from Aragon, and a few years later the range of products was expanded, making partridge, quail and rabbit pickles together with game sausages (deer and wild boar). As a result of his concern and the search for new products, currently, wanting to promote the products of the area, new sausages are being manufactured with mushrooms, pistachios and our much appreciated black truffle from Teruel.
