About Hayley Wells Illustration

Hi there! I’m an Essex-based illustrator with an MA in Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art. My illustrations have been shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards, featured on television, and published worldwide. I love creating prints, cards and stickers that are joyful and offbeat – perfect for indie gift shops, book stores, or vegan cafes. UNIQUE With over 2.5K Etsy sales and more than 700 5-star reviews, my quirky cards, prints and stickers have proven popular with customers looking for something a little bit different. Taking inspiration from nature, sci-fi, books and cats, my designs blend bold colour palettes with hand-drawn typography to form a range that is playful and witty. SUSTAINABLE I believes that art shouldn’t cost the Earth, which is why my entire product range is sustainably designed and printed in the UK, using recycled materials and packaged with compostable sleeves. HUMAN-MADE With a background in both design and illustration, I create my illustrations using a mix of traditional and digital techniques. You can rest assured that I will never use generative AI in my process or products.
