About Foot Range Mountain

Fun things to look at; made by a human. Foot Range Mountain is my passion hobby turned online shop. I love creating in a variety of media and applying my own style to natural subjects. I’ve always had a toe or two in a luddite fantasy where we are all living in a more tangible world with lovely things to touch and see, made by other humans who used their hands and brains. I’m just over here in my little corner of the world trying to do a little of that. The name Foot Range Mountain was inspired by my youngest son, who dubbed the Appalachian foothills near our home the "foot range mountains." Since this place and my family are my home and inspiration, it seems a fitting place name for my creative work. I hope you’ll find something here that you like to look at enough to hold it in your hands and put in your home. Read their story
