I am Kolika, I am a glass artist from Somerville MA and I am here to create the perfect mood. I make kiln-formed functional serving-ware that celebrate moments, spaces and people most meaningful to us. I also make geometric stained glass that celebrate sunshine. In my craft, I merge complex technology with traditional handbuilding techniques, meticulous precision with creative play and create my larger than life, Nature-inspired art glass work, which fits both classically designed homes as well as bohemian aesthetics; catering perfectly to both the minimalist and the maximalist genres and seamlessly to moments of laughter and quiet. I believe craft carries the essence of cultural and human storytelling and for that, it has to evolve continuously and be sustainable.
