Welcome to the corner of 19th & Whimsy! It's the intersection where contemporary fashion meets an element of whimsy. My name is Lauren Hayashibara and I'm the independent owner and designer of 19th & Whimsy. My online shop launched in Honolulu in 2012 and is now based in Los Angeles so I could be closer to my family. I specialize in women's contemporary clothing: casual chic styles for every day as well as styles that can effortlessly go from day to night. The brand is all about incorporating a whimsical element: an exclusive print, hand dyed fabric, or simply a little bit of sparkle, into fun and modern styles. I combine a mix of high fashion, resort, and basics to create collections that can be mixed and matched, layered, and worn anytime, anywhere. 19th & Whimsy is proudly designed and made in America. I design all my women's body styles, patterns, original printed fabrics, and artwork. Fabrics are sourced from around the world.
