It wasn’t just a sauce; it was a promise. A promise to ourselves and our son. For years, we were told our whiskey-reduction BBQ and fruit-infused heat were "too good to stay in a jar." We just had no idea how to make this happen given our circumstances. ​Then the pandemic broke out and our lives were forever changed. This is when we realized that life is too short to build someone else’s dream. So, we did the unthinkable: We went all in, and saw massive growth in a short time! We struggled to keep up so we decided to scale. We sold our home, packed our lives into a truck, and moved over 900 miles to the Barbecue Capital of the World. But the "Industry" wasn't what we expected. We found a system built on corporate middle-men and "pay-to-play" shelves that prioritize profit over the person behind the bottle.
