One day I was watching Piper, my daughter, fold laundry. She was doing a lowsy job if you ask me. I went up to her and told her if I had hired you to fold these clothes I’d fire you right now. You see it’s my mission to teach my kids three things in life. Love God, love your family, and know how to make a buck. I was failing that last one. After I cooled off I broke down two ways to make money. ’’Number one, you can work a ’job’ by giving your time and effort to someone else’s dream and they will give you money for that time and effort. Number two, you can become your own boss, set your own time, and make as much money as you want but if you don’t work you don’t eat.’’ She said ’’I like the second option’’. After researching several different business models and product ideas we landed on beard oils because we already knew about essential oils, so we did a pilot test run of some products and sold out at a MMA viewing event at a friends house.
