We are... Anke and Sabine We love art, design, music and travel. As trained, certified industrial designer and interior architect, we have been creating products for over 20 years, delighting in successful forms, brilliant colors, high-quality materials and smart ideas. In the design process we work in a very traditional way with working models, on which we can best test and alter proportions and color effects. In doing so, the original design often takes unplanned turns. In 2019 we had the idea to translate themes-into-colors-into-candles. Colorblocking with thematic reference... et voilà, our very first greeting candle was made: red, white, black – Santa Claus – reduced to his main identifying features. A new focus was set, which we have consistently developed ever since. In the meantime our candle collection comprises well over 100 different variants with color-coordinated candle holders. It's surprising what can come from an idea! We are very happy about the great success and the joy these candles spread. For us, design is a complex interplay of idea, production, distribution; an attitude, a way of life.Read their story
