About Sixton London

We are a husband and wife led team, with a background in fashion, based in Stockwell, near Brixton in London (hence the name, Sixton London). Our designs are inspired by a love of colour and the area we live in, from local legend David Bowie (see our best selling lightning bolt pin), to insects on display at the Hornimans museum. The collections are designed in our studio and made in South Korea, China and India and are hand finished here in London. As responsible creators, we use mainly recycled materials. Our handbags and make-up bags, exterior and linings and is made from recycled polyester (rPet), a material made from recycled plastic bottles, recycled polyurethane and recycled nylon. We now need to work on our socks being made from recycled materials - we are aiming for this to be the case by the end of 2022. We work closely with our manufacturing partners - including a third generation, family-owned sock factory and a sustainable, vegan leather handbag manufacturer. We work with manufacturers assessed by the amfori BSCI code of conduct that meet their labour principles for ethical business behaviour, fair renumeration, no discrimination, no child labour, decent working hours and occupational health & safety. We move our production from overseas to the UK via train as it is more eco-friendly with low exhaust emissions. We donate to the charity Buglife, saving the small things that run the planet, as well as our local Trinity Hospice. Read their story
