About Holly Fox Illustrates

Holly Fox Illustrates is where playful humour, joyful characters and a love of drawing come together in a growing collection of illustrated cards, designed to make people smile. I’m Holly, the artist behind the cards. I love mixing cheeky humour, painterly charm and everyday moments to create illustrations that amuse me and, hopefully, you too. Each card begins with sketches and experiments in gouache, pencils, collage and watercolour, and I spend as long as it takes until a design feels just right. Every piece is printed on high-quality board that shows the artwork at its best. I want everything in my brand to feel thoughtful and full of quality. Although I’ve drawn all my life, it wasn’t until after my daughter was born and the world paused in 2020 that I finally turned my passion into a career. I trained as a print designer during that time, and my love of colour, composition and fashion-inspired design still shapes my work today. I also care about doing my bit for the planet. Everything is made in the UK to keep the carbon footprint low and support local makers. Each card is printed on FSC-certified board and sent ‘naked’ with its envelope nested. When packaging is needed, it’s recyclable, plastic-free and sourced in the UK, so the joy of sending a card leaves nothing but a smile behind.Read their story
