About Indego Africa
Since 2007, Indego Africa has been propelling the creation, growth & sustainability of women-owned businesses in Africa. We collaborate with artisan partners in Rwanda & Ghana to create products that support their incredible talent, celebrate the craftsmanship and history of traditional African artistry, and showcase Indego Africa's dedication to high-quality, modern designs. 100% of raw materials used in our products are naturally and locally derived. Our partners source natural fibers from the communities where they work and live like sisal, sweetgrass, palm leaf, raffia, elephant grass and jacaranda wood. What began as a model to empower and educate women in post-genocide Rwanda, has grown into an unwavering commitment to help women, youth, and refugees in underserved communities become successful entrepreneurs. We invest 100% of our profits into their education because we believe in their ability to achieve (and exceed) their goals. *All of our products are handmade in small batches. Color & shape may vary due to handmade nature.
