Kantha Bae offers a collection of unique & functional products created from hand embroidered kantha, which is a traditional type of embroidery native to eastern South Asia, specifically Bangladesh, West Bengal and India. Shop our one-of-a-kind collection of kantha baby carriers, vintage kimonos, head wraps, swaddles, kantha baby quilts, pareos, turbans, head wraps and more. Kantha Bae was founded by Krista Sartin, a mom of 5 who wanted to start a shop that would use her beautiful designs to create a story of hope for women survivors around the world. Our designs support women in Bangladesh who have been rescued from at risk and trafficking environments. They are taught the traditional art of kantha embroidery and provided dignified work and a fair wage as well as care for their children.Read their story
