At Dr K Soap Company we're passionate about producing high quality handmade skin and bodycare products using pure, natural ingredients. Dr. Rob Karreman (Dr. K) started Dr K Soap Company in 2011 after completing a contract position as a postdoctoral scientist in University College Cork in Ireland. The process of soapmaking had always appealed to the biochemist and scientist in him and so it was a natural transition. He also really liked the idea of experimentation in his own lab - it was and still is an exciting and fun journey to come up with the Dr K range of products! From the beginning, he decided against the “norm” of chemical-laden artificial cosmetics available on our shelves – if he was going to make soap, he would make great soap. The use of only the finest natural ingredients has resulted in the ultimate good-for-you products – ones that we love to use and are proud to put our name on. Over time our product range has grown, as has our popularity. We are currently stocked in over 1000 stores across Europe, with more added every month. Dr K cosmetics are produced in our workshop in County Cork, Ireland according to EU cosmetic regulations. All products are SLS free, paraben free, sulfate free and never tested on animals.
