Dammya Wear started as a movement on the personal social media pages of Meemie Gosselin (Co-founder/CEO). Initially the movement was to fight intimidation and beauty standards for women. Many women identified themselves in this movement and this is how the brand got created & got it's initial traction. The first question was "what is the worst enemy & best friend of a woman?" swimwear! The brand decided to create swimwear products that would fit every women of all shapes and sizes.
