Kira Leihe is a ceramicist based in Oakland, California. They offer a variety of ceramic pieces such as bowls, teapots, colanders, planters, mugs, and ceramic watercolor palettes. They working primarily with clay, creating both hand-built and wheel-thrown ceramics. They love being able to create functional works that are simultaneously small pieces of art. As a small batch potter they enjoy spending time on each piece, deliberating over the design choices that are calling out to them as if they ate solving a puzzle. It's a beautiful process, and they love that they are able to give each piece a unique personality that way.
